Rowberrow Warren
Rowberrow Mountain Bike Trails
Rowberrow Warren is privately owned land managed by Forestry England under lease. It is popular with horse riders, walkers and mountain bikers. The land owners have kindly given permission for mountain bikers to use two official mountain bike trails and all surfaced forest tracks. The official trails are built to Forestry England guidelines with speed control features at crossing points for the safety of all forest users. The official trails are clearly signposted on site.
South West Trail
The South West trail begins up to the right of the West Mendip Way bridleway leading from Tynings Farm. The trail includes several sections: Christmas Trees, Pig Pen, Happy Valley & Vicious Valley. We are also planning on reinstating Jump Line #1 and Jump Line #2 to the right of Christmas Trees assuming that we are able to run dig days in 2021.
North East Trail
The North East trail begins on the bridleway near the entrance gate to Black Down. The trail includes several sections: Pump Track, Lumps & Bumps, Twins, The Chippy and Yee Haw. We are planning to improve the trail lines following felling work assuming that we are able to run dig days in 2021.
Please Stick To The Official Trails
The riding and digging of unofficial wild trails is forbidden as they are not permitted by the land owners, do not follow FE guidelines and have no speed control features at crossing points. Please do not dig or ride on unofficial wild trails as this may jeopardise the good will of the land owners. Please work with us for the longer term benefit of all.
